All Steps - New Rules on Repeating USMLE Exams

Starting January 1st, 2012, all examinees will be limited to three attempts within a 12 month period for any USMLE Step or component exam. Each attempt after an examinee’s third attempt must be at least 12 months after the first attempt at the exam and at least six months after the last attempt.
