I am planing to start studying for step 3 but I have no idea about how to start. I dont know what books or software should I use. Could you please tell me how to get prepared for the test? I will appreciate your help.

I would like to give a word of advice from my experiences,and it would be nice if it helps anyone taking the exam.







Basically everything is in the confidence you get from your own preparation, guided with UW/NBME/Kaplan or other wonderful resources.







The general pathway to the exam/clinical skills is through the "ABCD APPROACH/ADC VAAN DISML" orders of management, with the specific orders depending on the clinical scenario you come across. 







ABCD: (Airway/Breathing/Circulation/Emergency Drugs/Disposition/Diagnostics/Therapeutics)







ADC VAAN DISML: (Admission diagnosis/Disposition/Condition/Vitals/Allergies/Activity/Nursing Instructions/Diet/IV fluids/SCDs & GI prophylaxis/Medications-Consults/Counselling/Labs)
