Hi:
Congratulations on your impressive score. PLease can you explain how the actual exam differs from the usmleworld one? and if you said 55% is enough for you to pass this means the actual exam is easier. so it different by being easier or different format...please explain. Thank you
: Hi folks,
Passed step 3, 95/230.After the exam i felt i guessed on a lot of questions.i am a 3 rd yr resident doing ER.For folks in residency ,dont dread this test,if you do USMLE world and score atleast 55%,u will pass for sure and couple of weeks is all that you need.most of the questions on the test are totally differnt than the ones on usmleworld, however i recommend doing usmleworld as its a tool to assess urself and also it stimulates you to think, usmleworld needs to update its questions, its outdated.i used premier review and they are coming up with a questionbank, that should be far better than usmleworld ,judging from the lectures they put out, quality stuff.for folks and IMGs with no US residency experience, you need to work a little harder.you will feel dumb after taking the test, thats quite normal.Good luck to all of you guys.i am signing off,no more USMLE's for me.
