hey guys i got my exam report today

212 / 90
-------------------------------
i want to share my experience :
-------------------------------
1- kaplan notes one time + kaplan lectures ( not all )
2- Q&A FA book ( 67 % correct ) and Kaplan Q book ( 70 % correct ).
2- FA two times.
3- UW bank with 1st take 60 % 2nd take 66 % in two months .
4- UW SA two B4 the exam ( 215 ) ( 490 ).
5- NBME form 4 Online one week b4 the exam ( 211 ) ( 420 ) .
6- NBME form 1 and 2 Offline in the last week .
7- USMLE sample exams the day B4 the exam with score ( 80 % ).
8- My own notes from my mistakes all through were very usefull in the last
week also .

total time from start to end around 6 months .

congratulations and thanks for sharing the detailed strategy !
i wanted to ask if FA is inevitable as it is for step 1 ?

some say that ( MTB 2 ) is very good also .
so its up to u to choose the more convenient source .
i found that FA really covers so much and also highlighting what really needs to be or what i already made mistakes b4 , thats why i loved it .

difficulty level ?? UW ? nbme?

speed? did u manage all the blocks in time? was that an issue?

UW is the most diff but takes u to the highest levels of mentality so its very recommended that u finish it no more than 15 days from ur exam day .
as for the SA exam i dont know but for me nbme predicted more accurate .

NBME is a must ,, b4 i did it some ppl told its not necessary but i did it
cuz im a little obssessive , so why to do it ????

1- it assesses u very well it told me ( 211 )i got ( 212 )UW said u ll get
( 215 ).
2- i found many qs on my exam from NBME 4 and 2 ( others noticed that also )

regarding speed the only thing that makes u late is anxiety other than that

i think the time is okay esp if u take theses assessments right after UWbank .

if u have the time, one last Q...

shud we do all 4 nbmes...?

my plan is to do only one online and then the rest offline...

so actually two Qs.... ---

1. do u recommend doin all.. (i think u will right?)
2. all offline is ok?? (with maybe one online?)

for 1st q .... yes do them all if u have the time if not do them in that order ( 4 - 2 - 1 - 3 ) .

for 2nd q .... all u need from the online NBME is the assessment so i thhink its enough to do only one of them online ( esp the 4th ) knowing that its not gonna give u any explanation or even at least will let u know what are the qs u did wrong .

as for the rest the offline is very satsfying .
